Evergreen Youth Mountain Biking (MTB) Festival

The Evergreen Youth MTB festival is held annually at the Squilchuck State Park. The evergreen mountain bike alliance has a mission “to create, maintain and protect sustainable mountain biking opportunities in Washington.” Children’s Dentistry Northwest had the honor to sponsor such a wonderful event where this specific festival focused on our youth community riding bikes! Dr. Fletcher is an avid mountain biker and enjoys exploring outdoors, so this event was especially fun for the team to join in on!

Health Information Fair

We never pass on the chance to educate patients and their families as it is especially important to us here at Children’s Dentistry Northwest. Part of our mission is to inform the public on children’s health and hygiene! The health information fair was a sponsored event held at East Junior High IN East Wenatchee. Kids and their families were able to play fun games all while learning about health options and health resources offered here in the valley.

2020 POLAR PLUNGE

Dr. Cara, Dr. Britt, Restorative Hygienist Britney and Office Manager Janet from the team at Children’s Dentistry Northwest took the “Plunge” in support of our special needs patients and Special Olympics into the icy Columbia River! Our bodies were cold but our hearts were warm as we raised over $1,000.00 for these special athletes and won the Community Member Participation Award for our efforts! Our team loves working with this special population of our patients so it was a joy to be able to show our support, have some crazy fun and help raise money for the Special Olympics!!!!

THE ROYAL TEA

Every year in April Dr. Cara and the team at Children’s Dentistry Northwest have the fun of presenting to their patients The Royal Tea. It is a select opportunity for Dr. Cara’s patient’s to personally meet the Apple Blossom Junior and Senior Royalty in a one on one intimate setting. What a treat it is to have all our little “princesses” have the opportunity to put on their Sunday best, take pictures with the royalty, receive royalty trading cards and help themselves to a beautiful feast provided by Dr. Cara and her Smile Team. As the major sponsor of the Junior Apple Blossom Royalty Children’s Dentistry Northwest is proud to host this special private event for their patients. What a wonderful success it was this year. Thank you to our 100 year Apple Blossom Royalty for making all of our little princesses feel so special!

SPONSORSHIP OF PJ MASKS SHOW

Dr. Cara and the team at Children’s Dentistry Northwest love bringing fun children’s events to the town of Wenatchee. That is why this year they teamed up with the Town Toyota Center to bring the wonderful superhero group, PJ Masks Show to the community! Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko all joined forces on the stage of the Town Toyota Center to magically come to life in an action-packed show of superhero forces! Just like the cavity-fighting team at Children’s Dentistry Northwest , PJ Masks were on their way, into the night to save the day! It was a fun night to be had by all!

HIKE FOR A CAUSE

The mission of the Chelan-Douglas CASA/Guardian ad Litem Program is to recruit, train, and support community volunteers to advocate for the best interest and enhance the lives of children who are in the foster care system as a result of abuse and neglect. Children’s Dentistry Northwest has always been proud to support CASA and all programs that support the health and well-being of children. This weekend the Smile Bugg team joined up with the Chelan-Douglas CASA program and the Wenatchee Valley YMCA in Hike for a Cause. The goal was to help them reach 5,000 steps for 5,000 kids! What a great time we had climbing Saddlerock and supporting our local foster kids!

COLOR RUSH

The United Way supports the Youth United Color Rush. Children’s Dentistry Northwest was so proud to be this year’s Color Rush bag sponsor! Every participant received a back bag with a Children’s Dentistry Northwest logo on it to take home. This event is especially awesome because it directly supports the youth in our community and that is what the team at Children’s Dentistry Northwest is all about, supporting and mentoring youth! We are so grateful to be in a position to be able to give back to our community!
